Pets were the true stars of the greatest pet festival
3,000 dogs, more than 300 cats, 50 aquariums of discus fish, an exhibition of around a hundred dwarf rabbits, exotic birds and reptile terrariums were the stars of the latest edition of the Pet Festival.
The Festival was visited by 42,000 people.
A resounding success which underlines the general public’s huge interest in pets.
Visitors to the event were able to peruse the stands of various animal protection associations and exhibitors featuring accessories, fashions and even natural therapies for pets such as Bach Flower Remedies, massages and Reiki.
In the area dedicated to breeding clubs, animal enthusiasts could discover the unique characteristics of each dog breed and their own pets were able to take part in the parade to find the “friendliest” or “most original” pet, amongst other prizes.
